Delete your account in Loqa

  1. Sign in to Loqa and open User Settings.
  2. Select My Account, then select Standing.
  3. Under Account Removal, select Delete Account. Do not select Disable Account, which is a separate, reversible action.
  4. Type delete all my data exactly as shown and enter your current password. If your account uses only a passkey, leave the password field blank and confirm with your passkey when prompted.
  5. Select Delete Account to finish. Loqa deletes account-scoped data and, only where the retention rules below require an actor reference, scrubs profile and credential data from a disabled pseudonymous record. You are then signed out.

Request deletion by email

Email [email protected] and say that you want your Loqa account deleted but cannot access it. Include your username and a detailed description of the access problem so the team can identify your request.

What deletion means

Loqa deletes your account and associated data or anonymizes your profile when shared resources, ownership, business or accounting records, a server retention lock, or a legal hold requires records to remain. Limited moderation, security, backup, fraud-prevention, transaction, or legal records may also remain for the periods described in our Privacy Policy. Review the GDPR information and Terms of Service for additional details.

Account access and active credentials are revoked as part of the deletion process. Physical cleanup of eligible file objects may continue briefly afterward through a durable retry process.

Files kept in a retained or shared conversation may remain with that record. Some older file objects predate reliable uploader tracking; Loqa will not guess ownership from a forwarded message link and risk deleting another person's file. Those objects remain subject to orphan reconciliation and support-assisted rights requests. Include a file URL or ID in your request if you have it.
